Examination & Promotion
- There will be maximum four periodic tests and one half year and one session ending exam. Besides the above, surprise tests will be conducted.
- Progress report will be shown at the end of the half year examinations and issued at the end of session ending exam. In case there is a calculation mistake in the report card, kindly inform the school office for the necessary correction within three days.
- A child who fails in one or two subjects in the final assessment will not be promoted to the next higher classes even if he or she posses the aggregate 33% marks, however school may give maximum 5 grace marks in one or two subjects to promote the child.
- Parents/Guardians of a detained child who wish that continue his/her studies in this school are.required to submit an application to the principal within two days of the issue of the Report Card failing which the name of the child will be struck off the rolls without
intimating the Parents/Guardian.
- A child who fails in any of the subjects will not be given Any rank. Special arrangements cannot be made for pupils who FOR ANY REASON, are absent from Tests/Examinations.
- Pupils who miss a Test or Examination do so at their own risk. There is NO PROVISION FOR RE-TESTS.
- A student must appear for session ending examinations.
- If a child is absent from any of the examination, a leave application in duplicate is to be submitted to the school office and an acknowledgments taken, if no one leave application is received, the child may not be considered for promotion to the next class.
- The whole year's work and attendance will also be taken into consideration for promotion. The principal promotes a student in consultation with the staff the decision of the school authorities with regard to may be duly filled in by the parents/guardians. The fee promotion is final. Result declared at, the end of the Collection record is to be shown to the school office at year are final in all cases and will not be reconsidered not will the answer papers be shown.
- Parents/ guardians are requested not to approach the Principal or any other staff of the school for promoting the children who have been detained (to avoid information regarding the withdrawal of their embarrassment).
- A pupil who fails in several subjects throughout the year or who fails twice in the same class or who is over age by two years or more due to failure in different classes will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in this school.
